Fundraising Events & Activities

I have lots of fundraising events coming soon... on this page you will find everything that is being planned and the dates of events.

Fundraising is part of the expedition experience... knowing I have done my best to raise money will make everything even more special!

Here are some of the great Sponsorship Events planned so far!

• Sponsored Climb & Camp up Mount Snowdon, Wales...
  This is going to be a big one and will certainly get me prepared for the expedition - as Ecuador does not suffer from cold weather I think I will be doing this when it is warmer!
  
  
• Flight or Bike...
  A direct flight from London to Quito takes approximately 12 hours, so I am going to attempt a MASSIVE 12 Hour bike ride! I doubt I can ride the same distance (5,725 miles), but let's see how far I get!
  
  
• Cake Bake Sales...
  Everyone likes a cake and I am pretty good at baking so there will plenty of bake sales going on between now and my trip... if you have any suggestions, Galapagos Cupcakes or something, please let me know!
  
  
• Chimborazo Sponsored Bike Ride...
  Yes I know... what's Chimborazo, well it is an extinct Stratovolcano in Ecuador and amazingly at 6,628 metres is the highest mountain on Earth, at least when measured from the Earth’s centre rather than sea level! I wondered how many Chimborazo's I could 'cycle up' in 6 hours?
  

My Sponsorship Opportunities page lists various packages that can offer your business some great exposure while I'm away in Ecuador but commercial sponsors will also benefit from exposure during the build up to the trip too. While I'm fundraising I will also be promoting businesses who have supported me. So basically early sponsors get the most coverage!
